Just got home from a quick over night trip to Kirksville, MO for work (UW-Parkside wrestling {#3 NCAA DII team in the country, just saying}) and here my wife had cleaned off my truck in the school parking lot AND shoveled off the driveway! She's great!

Congrats on the wrestling, and if the driveway has as much as mine, it wasn't much work. LOL

Yea, we dualed Truman State and Drury at Truman. Wasn't very entertaining, combined 99-0 team score.

I'm still very appreciative after driving 6 hours and not having to do it myself!

Finally got a decent amount of snow last night & today.
Knew it was coming so I pregamed an got the snowblower ready, checked oil & made sure it started (2pulls) I'm ready. haha
Went out today at noon to take care of the snow and 3pulls rope breaks with out starting (FML),,, thankfully they put the electric start thing on it, never knew if it worked, but it did so I could clear my drive.

    2003 Prerunner TRD Off-Road (RIP)
Been on this site a minute, figured I'd finally check in locally. Here is my 2003 Prerunner. I picked this one up last March; getting a Prerunner wasn't really in my plans, but this one was a recent trade-in from Arizona and the clean underbody won me over, as well as the fact that, even with 200K on the clock, it drove like new and was obviously cared for. No delusions about turning this into a hardcore off-road truck, but with the locker I've been pretty happy with the way it gets around on forest service roads up north. For winter, I keep about 250lbs of sand over the back axle and run some pretty badass 235/85r16 Firestone Winterforce snow tires, and it's actually been pretty damn solid even in ice and deep snow. I don't really have too many plans for mods at this time, just keeping it clean and enjoying it, though if a TRD supercharger were to fall into my lap that would sure be cool. The stock leafs are pretty tired. Last owner put Hellwig helpers on and they keep the back pretty level, but I'm thinking of doing the OME Dakars this spring. Also thinking about an off-road front bumper. All the unnecessary salting in Milwaukee stresses me out a little, but I have the underside pretty much encased in Fluid-film and it seems to be holding up great. Wish I'd known about that stuff before my '96 4runner rusted out. :( You live, you learn. Last picture is the way it looked when I bought it. I've changed a few things, basically with the intention of returning it more to factory look. I liked the blacked-out grille but everything the previous owner plasti-derped is starting to flake off. Definitely looking forward to networking with some of y'all and possibly seeking some advice as more advanced projects present themselves. Cheers!

Anybody been watching the Olympics? I personally get pretty into it and find the games a lot of fun to watch.

I watched the men’s luge (took silver) and women’s moguls last night. I was reading they will hand out 110,000+ condoms to the athletes! Holy Shit and they still have the energy to compete?!?

I am a member and 2016 Tacoma owner from Wisconsin. Stays in the garage during winters but lover to romp around once the snow and salt are gone.

I to enjoy to watch the Olympics. The winter games are my favorite. I wish that the time difference wasn't so great. Getting up for work before 5 am weekdays makes it tough to stay awake real late watching.

So had a great experience at Smart Toyota today. I made a appointment in person & was asked if I needed a loaner vehicle. I said yes. Go to drop off my vehicle the following week to have three warranty concerns addressed & was told by another service writer that my vehicle does not qualify for a loaner as I did not purchase vehicle at their dealership. Did not offer a loaner this time around even though it was there mistake. I was told I could rent a car & that's it. I proceeded to thank him & left with my vehicle. Absolute horrible first time experience & will never do business with this dealership again. I hope Eastside Toyota is better than this.

I've been to Smart for my 5k and 10k service and didn't have the best experience there either. I also purchased my truck from a different dealer. I do all my maintenance now. Let us know how Eastside treats you.
