Dang, hopefully that does it. Be careful when installing the hardware that came with the bakflip their screws are made of butter.

I got my exhaust reroute done this weekend. $83 out the door and he took me as a walk-in on a holiday! Babes and Lightning Muffler in San Jose. Everyone else in the Bay Area I called (who were even willing to do it...) were 120+. The work looks good to me. No rattles or codes. I got the first skid on but was lazy about the other two. I'm nervous about drilling holes in the frame for the cross member. I want to make sure I protect them from corrosion. Does anyone have a suggestion for what paint or whatever I should use?

Better have lights, or is it really an approved "meso" product?

I stripped out one of mine installing my Bak Revolver. Ended up using one of these bad boys to get the stinking thing out:
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01NGTLM4...t=&hvlocphy=9029023&hvtargid=pla-318198613386

Definitely takes some effort to get them out. I ended up using a good torx socket bit, that way I could put one hand pressure directly onto the bolt head, and use the other for loosening them. Toyota wasn't messing around when they installed these bolts! Good luck! The others should come out better since you've already put penetrating spray on the others.

You are absolutely not supposed to use anything but hand power to loosen them, and to finish the tightening. You, sorry to say, found out the hard way. :frusty:
On the upside, you will be able to buy more when you do get those stripped bolts out.

I use a foam cannon filled with 2 oz of Chemical Guys V07 car soap & warm water. Even with my wimpy 1,500psi pressure washer it makes decent foam. When this one wears out I'll definitely go with a more powerful model.

Chemical Guys makes some outstanding products.

I ended up getting it with the pb buster, but one more from the side rail had to be screwed out.

I have that same kit! I had to use it on one of the side rail bolts that wouldn't come. Ruined two t30 bits trying to get it even with a lot of pb buster. Oh well, got some new ones and it's all set.

I tried the power tool AFTER it had already been messed up from hand turning attempt. With the bakflip bolts that you use for the side rails making the OEM ones useless, I ended up being just fine and didn't need extras as I just re-used the toyota bolts in the two I needed to replace.

What size rim and tire did you get stuffed under ..im wondering if a 275/70//17
would fit. Just curious why you purchased another rim instead of a steelie or watever?
