What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Nope. Sold a few 4;30s and my truck is a 4:30.

 

Did some more work on the 3D model. I'm slowly going through and rebuilding all of the surfaces...

(I've since put on a 97 front bumper so it's even sexier now)

 

I try to never use the ebrake in winter. Just leave it in gear when parked.

 

Mine does... I park outside though. Sometimes I can just pull on it hard enough to release it but other times that's not enough.

Installed my new bed rack last night

 

Anyway you can get someone to pull on the handle in the cab while you check the linkage below?

 

Do I get expo points or something for having a matching spare? Or 5 matching spares? Just need to make them pretty again.

@mechanicjon went above and beyond to get a set of 4, probably should just told me to take my money back.

 

Mine doesn't work. Hasn't since I owned it but I just leave it in 1st gear when I park it

 

What era wheels did you pick up?
My 04s stick out farther then the 05s
From back fack of hub mounting surface to outer lip, they have the same lip thickness of .50"

They were all from tacomas and not 4runners?

 

I'm on my original starter, never been touched. 275k miles.

I stop and leave it in gear all the time, lots of starting and stopping on the trail, and I use the clutch start cancel most of the time in low range to use the starter to get moving and get up obstacles when I stall.

I watched @Reh5108 get up an obstacle solely with the starter motor for like 15 seconds straight.

I wouldn't be concerned.

 

Not as cool as some of what ive seen, but I replaced my corner markers with led's. My corners were out when I bought the truck so I figured what better excuse do I have to go led

 

My guy has 2 4:30 elockers he just pulled out of 4runners. History of the 4runners is unknown. But he said yes some were 4:30. 4:10 is more common
