Curious if anyone is running the Deaver u402 expedition 3 leaf pack? Currently running the allpro expo pack and I'm riding on the bump stops so think it's time to step it up to somthing really heavy duty.

I have the u402 pack and i need to upgrade. I had an issue where they weren’t holding up to the weight after several months. Deaver Serviced them for free (i stopped by their shop since i was heading down near them) and it held great for a bit but they’re sagging again. Not sure if i got a bad pack / pack with bad leafs but I’m going to go the custom route. I need to get the truck weighed and order a new pack from them based on my actual weight.

Before i do that, I’ll get the pack serviced locally and see if that fixed anything.

I’ve had some capacity issues with the pack but their customer service has been great.

Bumper, shell, sliders, and gear has you on the bumps with the expo pack huh? About how much extra weight over stock do you think you have on the rear axle?

I basically have it. I had them build a custom pack for my weight requirements but based off the U402. 1 month later they came out with the expedition packs 1-3.

Mine is built for 1300 pounds over stock (yes you read that number correctly). Feel free to call Jeff and use my name if you want to copy.

    Fuck deaver.

    I have the Stage 3.
I was told they would provide 3" of lift at 700-1000lbs. Mine barely hold 600lbs at 2.5" over stock height.

When in re-did my rear and I noticed the springs were sagging badly and didn't even have 700lb on the rear end. I actually weighed or got weights of parts and added everything up. I figured I was at about 600lbs and the ride height was only 2.5" over stock. When I had my frame inspected before gusseting/reinforcing the rear the first thing the inspector noticed was how bad the brand new leafs looked, he actually asked how old they were, I told them I installed them less than a week before.

I emailed them and asked what the deal was and why leaf packs were a gross "W" shape and not at an expected height, they said the "W" was normal but didn't address the fact they weren't holding the weight they told me and didn't respond to a follow up email.

After the holidays I called them and asked if I could get an AAL for them, they said email them photos, I did, and yet again didn't get a response.

Just had my u402 pack re arched and added a leaf and they’re beefy. Need to test it out with some weight.

I’ll agree with some issues talking to deaver for support. When i contacted them myself, emails were slow to respond and were somewhat short.

When i had issues the first time, i went through my vendor (Matt at mcm fab) and so he did all the initial communication. They were totally awesome when i went to their shop to service the pack that first time.

Re-arching springs is a lost art.

The better shops will heat treat (anneal) the springs in a BF'in furnace in addition to the re-arch. Not every shop has that capacity.
