PTR13-35150 - Bilstein TRD PRO kit - Upgrade??

Watching this as it might warrant putting some 1/4" spacers up front with the AAL w/overload or a full leaf pack, if the rake is more then 1.5" or so. I've got a topper so that should offset the rake a little.

How much lift over stock did you get on your '15 ??

 

2" and holding there with 1500 miles on the kit so far

Sweet, how are you liking the ride?

 

I haven't racked as many miles on the new setup as you have yet, I'm maybe at about 150? So far I'm noticing it's definitely more firm of a ride, but it does seem to soak up harsher roads better. Body roll is also noticeably better. Haven't had the chance to take it off pavement or throw a load in it yet other than maybe a few hundred pounds in the cab worth of tools and a passenger, but I'm happy with it. How about you?

 

I really like it a lot better than a OME set up I had on a '14 DCSB Prerunner that I had, the TRD kit is a lot softer/smoother than the OME (in my opinion), and definitely soaks up potholes and washboard roads a Lot better and 100 times better than the stock sport suspension.

 

What did your align #'s look like after? AAL on the back, Ol/No OL? UCA? Pic?

 

I didn't get a alignment sheet from the dealer, but I believe the only thing they done was adjusted the tire rod ends (seen where they put wrenches on them) to center the steering wheel back up.. No AAL (stock rear other than the rear shocks that came with kit), stock UCA

had these on my 15 pro, it rode rough as hell,,, love the ride of the fox on my 17 pro

 

Big question here, has anyone encountered vibes caused by the axle shaft bearing post lift???

Got mine put in today! Sitting 37 1/2'' ground-to-fender up front and 36 1/2'' ground-to-fender in the rear. No taco-lean, and the Bro-lean isn't as bad in person, as my parking lot slopes toward the center to drain.

EDIT: Did not replace bearing, so far no vibes.

 

I did right after the install, got it fixed at the dealer under warranty

 

Did they do the installation of the suspension ???

 

No, I did it myself

 

Was a real easy install except for the front sway bar, if I could have had a extra set of hands would have been better, but just me doing it taking my time, install took me about 3 hours ( that includes fuck off time too)

 

Awesome, thanx for the info, I figured a dealer would tell you it’s not covered after a lift

 

Not worried about the installation at all. Worried about repercussions
