    The springs came from the front of a early 70's 4x4 chevy blazer. About a year ago I replaced 1 leaf with a blazer leaf and gained a little over 1". I lost that inch when I added the rack and stuff that is on it.

    The other day I added an additional leaf and now have right at 2" of lift with the rack.

    I filled the 15 gal water tank and only lost .5"

    Haven't noticed much change in the ride, so I'm happy with that.
