Is it just me or did the season get shorter? I thought they did more shows for Top Gear

I want to say top gear was 12-13 episodes per series. It felt like last season of TGT was longer than this year's though.

Thanks for confirming my suspicions. I'm hoping it was due to hammond's accident and clarkson's hospital visit and not because they decided to permanently shrink the season's length.

That would suck, they are just barely getting their groove back. And it takes so damn long for a season to come out. wait almost a year. Then 11 weeks aaand that's it.

Well they signed a contract for 36 episodes over 3 years, so that works out to an average of 12 per season. Last year was 13, so 11 this year makes sense, and then 12 next year.
It was better when they were on Top Gear, though, because they'd do 5-7 episodes, then break for 6 months and do another batch, so you got a summer and a winter series without a huge 10 month gap.

Well luckily Top Gear isn't a total POS and I'll watch that during the break of the GT. Plus racing season is upon us.

They still show Top Gear? Who's on it now? I wasn't a fan of the new line up. It didn't seem right.

Matt Le Blanc, Chris Harris and Rory Reid. It's not the best trio but it's still enjoyable for me. Once they got rid of Chris Evans it was immediately more entertaining. The cars are still awesome.

Bumper, Winch, 315s, Sliders, OME HD lift, Custom rear swingout, roof rack, drawers, way too much to list.
Jeremy, Richard, and James were spotted in Colombia a few weeks ago. A friend got a selfie with James at the JW Mariott in Bogota. I wanted to go see them, but didn't have time.

I think the contract that the BBC had with the History Channel expired and nobody else has picked it up yet.

Am I the only one that sorta gave up on The Grand Tour? I watched the first few episodes but they don't do anything for me.

Stick with it; I wasn't impressed with the first couple of episodes but I think that they improve as they go and by the end of season 1 they've found the groove again.

Fortunately by season 2 they've deleted Celebrity Brain Crash.

The brain crash was horrible. The face off is better, but they usually talk too much for my liking. I usually fast forward till I get to the laps. I did enjoy the magic tricks one though.

I actually like the interview part of the show. But, I usually enjoyed it on Top Gear, too.
