Maybe I am just overlooking it, but I've "skimmed" the manual. Why cant you reset the current tank average MPG? You can reset the bar on the headunit for that trip but it doesnt wipe everything to zero. Say you are headed off road or on a long highway trip with 1/2 a tank of fuel, and want to see what mileage you get on that last 1/2.

I feel like thats a really dumb question, as I have never seen a vehicle that doesnt let you do this. But its definitely not like any of my past Toyotas.

    No sorry miscomunicado.
Just pointing out if you use virtual machine in mac
There is an avg fuel economy reading.
You can reset that anytime from the steering wheel while driving you just have to add it into the dash menu.

I will have to look next time I am in the truck. I have mine setup to show tank average and the trip average (that resets with each start up of the truck). You are saying there is a 3rd readout? Maybe my real issue is that you cant see all 3 at the same time then!

Yeah there's a third readout, it's the same one you see in the fuel economy menu on the head unit when you look at details, you can actually reset it from the dash menu once you get it onto the dash menu.

That makes sense. I think I was confusing that and the tank average. Would still be nice to be able to manually reset the tank average instead of relying on the computer.

Ive seen a few people say it did not properly reset after they topped off a "full" tank, or that it wont recognize more fuel above a certain amount. I wonder how the trucks adding larger fuel tanks will deal with that?

Yeah you know what would be nice? Maybe seeing a pic of those exhaust headers next to some turbos to wet my appetite.

    @dYL0n

Just wondering if you ever attempted a 0-60 on the tune? Might have missed it with all the pages of info lmao

I did it on the 1.02a and b. Not on C.

    I’ll run one with 1.03

If I wake up early before the rain tomorrow, I can get one with 1.02C.

I see, that would be great thanks!

I know it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, the added low end torque, smoother transmission and instant throttle is more important but I'm wondering how much that has affected the acceleration if at all.

Given the nature of this tune (a focus on low end power), I think what might be more telling is a comparison of 0-30 times which would help illustrate the changes in off-the-line performance.

    Maybe @dYL0n could do both?

So all this talk about the torque converter, I am not sure I know what the feel is when you "feel it" engage or disengage? Last night I was driving home and coming up this short hill I gave it some gas, it sped up and as I got to the top of the hill I totally let off and felt sort of a grab and some deceleration, was that the torque converter engaging? If not, how or when do you guys feel it kick in?
