Mossberg (maverick 88), no Remington. I have trained and have trained others on both weapons... mossy wins hands down.

Safety and slide release locations are the winning factors.

You're the second person on here to recommend the Maverick 88!

Dream rifle? SCAR 17. I'll probably never own one though.

What's the difference between All-Purpose, Security, and Slug?

It is $$$ for sure. That's why I'll never own one. I have no problem dropping $3,000 on a gun. But it would be a precision bolt action if I did. And yes, definitely a SCAR-H. It's the only 308/7.62 gun I'd own.

Not yet. But you can bet on someone committing one of the next mass shootings with a "sniper rifle" and some leftist cuck crying about how no one needs to shoot 1500 yards.IMG_20180110_121225_968.jpg

Security will likely be the minimum bbl length, 18.5" and a open/cylinder choke.

All purpose will be a longer barrel with screw in choke tubes.

    Slug will have iron sights.

I could be making this shit up. Been drinking heavy for 6hrs.

Started at about noon in Tulum with some Sol. Made it to the resort by 5pm and stared with a shit corona because it was in the room. 3x merlot with my dinner then a deluge of mojito since.

Mavrick 88 is left over from when the Mossberg Brothers would sell their guns under other monikers. It's the last bastion of this era, and 100% interchangeable with the Mossy 500.
