They didn't say a word about it, They know there's a TSB for it so you shouldn't have any issues having them replacing it if it's bad ( other than the parts not being in stock)

Good to know! I don't notice it on mine, but I'll definitely be keeping on the lookout for it while I'm still under that 60k/5yr!

I was taking post lift measurements tonight and couldn't figure out why I had so much rake (2"). Then it occurred to me that my spare wasn't installed. I put it back in and it seems like that settled it a bit. I will drive it a bit and then get some numbers.

I don't have the time/patience/tools to install this myself, so I've already planned on having it done.

Would it be better to have the dealer install the entire set up and do the needle bearing while they are in there?

Or, take it to the local 4x4 shop and have them do everything. Not too many modded tacos in my area and my concern with the shop is them doing most of their work on full sized trucks. I know if I take it to a dealer then they won't run into any "unforeseen" problems, especially with the needle bearing.

Also, if I go ahead and order the ECGS bushing, should I order the gasket and tools as well, or can I count on the shop having what's needed for that?

One more thing, I guess I could wait on the bearing until I have an issue with hopes that the dealership would just cover it under warranty.

Take it where you are comfortable with. Any shop can do this. Leave the bearing alone and if it causes you a problem take it to Toyota to cover under warranty.

This thread died off pretty quickly lol. I guess pretty much everyone got their parts and installed them. Now we shall see about getting rake back and the different routes people went.

I checked a week or two ago and there was 250 in the country and 20 or so in Mansfield. Was on the fence about ordering and had them check again on Saturday only 18 left all in the national warehouse. Got ordered Monday morning, hopefully it went in before all the weekend orders.
