Yes. Reliable and accurate in my and wife's hands. Honestly a home defense weapon is just to cover the family's egress from the home.

And my wife knows. If she needs to engage an intruder. Shoot to kill, and don't stop until the target is dead AND the gun is empty.

Anyone worth shooting, is worth shooting more than once.

Are we only allowed one per category?

I have my dream defensive firearms of each type already, but I've got others I want for fucking around.

The three that are currently on the To-Do list for the next year:

    Pistol:
A nice 1911 - I haven't decided between Baer and Wilson Combat. Still figuring that out.

    Rifle:
I will be having one of these made in .338 Edge.

    Shotgun:
Not applicable. I really don't want any more on top of the two I have.

    Bonus:
Sig Sauer 716 DMR G2. Wanted to play with one for a while.

An S&W revolver is a lot like a base model Tacoma in my opinion...

Simple, reliable, and easy to use!

Always aim for the engine (heart) or the computer (brain)....

I saw that on a cop show once...

This is probably what I'd want as far as a revolver for home defense...

When my grandfather passed me and my father were looking thru some boxes found an old .32 revolver with the same ammo in it since 1962 still have the box of ammo. All 5 rounds fired and all hit the target. It was love at first sight.

My late grandpa was a cop in New Jersey for 30 years. He kept a handgun behind the toilet!

Funny you say that we found the 32 in a box and a .38 under his pillow. The .38 is a s&w
