Whats up guys...Anybody running a light bar on their roof?? I bought one made by a company called "Carr" and it was shit...didn't come with some hardware and the angles were completely wrong for a 2nd Taco...even though its says thats what it was made for so I'm returning it...any help would be awesome...I have one lead with a company that might carry a low profile light bar for 2nd gens but thought I'd hit you guys up too

    Thanks for any help :)

"Low Profile" and "Roof Light Rack" don't go together man.

You either really need the illumination and you deal with the increased drag...or you don't.

They create a hugh snag hazard for trails/rocks...Out in the open no issues.

If I was going to put a light bar on my truck it would one like this. I like it cause it kinda looks like the ones you can get on the H3.

Baja racks make a basket that has an optional light bar.

A lot of guys end up having one custom made.

Just lookin for options Brunes...I'm well aware of the differences bro

And I don't plan on rock crawling upside down  I could care less about the drag or decreased gas mileage lol

Oh and by "low profile" I mean something that hugs the roof...I know lights will make my truck taller in general

You can use a Thule roof rack to do this.. It's removable and all you'd have to do is drill holes into the load bars to mount the lights or figure out some sort of bracket to mount it on, and if you don't like the bars sticking out the sides so much (personally I don't) you can cut the bar to fit the width better.

Camper top with racks, Custom fogs behind lower bumper. Interior LED lighting, Rock Lights, Hella 500s with upraged bulbs behind black billet grill, AAL, Front 5100s
I love the bar that Yotanator has, but i definately don't want it up there all the time and definately don't want it to be drilling holes in my roof. I wonder if you could mount it up there with magets (think delivery boy) and have a waterproof connector that runs to it which hides under the roof rack trim piece when not in use. Just mark the corners with small sharpie marks and when you want it slap it up there.

I can't find the photo of the spot I ripped my passenger mirror off....but there is rock just up and to the right that could easily take a roof mount light off.
