Yeah I successfully escaped from my parents in Stephentown and moved out to Troy this winter.

So when I was in Home Depot a couple weeks ago they had a rep from Tesla that offers to put solar panels on your house and guarantees to cut your electric bill in half. What he was kind of hesitant on was who pays for it and such. I don't mind Tesla or whomever to put some panels up, but I really don't want to shell out the $10k+ for them. I'll never see the money back before I sell the house. But yeah following that math makes sense. My cousin added a panel to his house and it just offsets his own usage, its not an overly large panel so he doesn't have to worry about making more power than he uses so it doesn't throw red flags to the power company.

    Morning Humanoids!
I'm all confused about what day of the week it is, lol. Had Monday off, but I'm working Saturday, so even though today's only the second day of work it's already Wednesday, but I still have 3 more days to go anyway. :goingcrazy:

They're aloud to drive, they actually are suppose to have a decent looking vehicle when they go out and do the door to door stuff (I forget what they call it). They do have some other rules though that are pretty restricting in the sense of enjoying certain adult things. I have a friend in one of our group chats that we have had convos about it but it was awhile ago when we had our last one

If you are coming in from the north that's also not the best part of town. South end is really up and coming, south Park and dilworth are south of uptown and both are really cute

A "funny" email exchange between our new Logistics guy and myself:

The premise is that he needed addresses for a few factories we buy from, so he could give someone some freight quotes.

Me: I respond back with the info, and say:
Dims and weight would be something that only the vendor would be able to give an idea of. if you would like that, please advise so it can be requested.

Him: Thanks for the information on suppliers locations.
Dims and weights are required in order for me to provide a quote ? (at this point, I'm like, WTF is he asking me if they are required for him to provide a quote??? He should know, not me... right?! Or am I not reading his email correct?? So...)

Me: That I do not know the answer to, since we do not get involved in freight quotes. The person in charge of your department might be able to answer/advise.

Him: You indicated “Dims and weight would be something that only the vendor would be able to give an idea of. if you would like that, please advise so it can be requested.” So I was requesting them but now you are stating you don’t know and to ask the person in charge of my department? Please clarify (Now I'm even more pissed off because clearly he doesn't know how to read, and how to answer. So...)

Me: Your response was a question: “Dims and weights are required in order for me to provide a quote ?”. Not very clear response to my question the way I interpreted it.

Him: Based on your reply stating Dims and weight would be something that only the vendor would be able to give an idea of. if you would like that, please advise so it can be requested. Yes please request vendor to supply dims and weights ?

OK, so me being an ESL person, am I reading his emails incorrectly?? Or does he not know how to fucking respond when I first asked him if he needed the info, and made things confusing as hell? I asked my co-worker when we got his reply to my first response (since he was CCed on the email as well), and he thought the same thing I did... FML.

They all did. Especially the step sides! I know the 454SS didnt come in a step side but they were the worst for paint issues.

In my mind, you told him to ask you for the dimensions and weight, then told him you can't help him. You said "if you would like that, please advice so it can be requested" This pretty much tells him to ask you, and you will figure it out.

Dims and weight would be something that only the vendor would be able to give an idea of. if you would like that, please advise so it can be requested.

I don't know any of my neighbors' names, wouldn't recognize them if I saw them somewhere, and I'm fine with that.

I suspect they think I'm a hermit since I almost never have visitors.

If I had the land, I would consider solar panels as a stand alone unit at ground level.
To me, the panels on the roof seem to be a PIA.
What do you do if you have roof problems with panels on the roof?
