    It shouldn’t take over an hour if you have good internet connection and all the files. I’ll send you a checklist between today and tomorrow to make sure.

    @TacoSauceHB

    Here is what you need to have ready:

    1. Software dongle (USB flash drive).

    2. OBD cable (USB cable that connects from the windows laptop to your truck).

    3. Activation code for your software. We can meet up any day prior to the flashing to get this serial number of your dongle and email it to @OVTune so he can send us the activation file and have it ready by then.

    4. The flash file. There are different 6 different types of tunes that you can choose from as I understand. Do you happen to know which one you want or do you need some info on what each of them do? Since you have an AT truck I personally recommend 1.02C shift A All gear shift 91 octane. But it truly comes down to what you want.

    I’ll take care of all the other shenanigans (drivers, activation, flashing, etc).

    I just flashed from 91 shift a to 87 shift a last night. Truck has about 9 gallons of 91 and 10 of 87. Some I’m 89 octaine.

    I have about 150 miles on it and the truck is running rough off idle under mild acceleration. My misfire counts are way up. I might have seen 1 in two months running 91 tune. This morning in traffic thing was missing a lot.

    Anyone else have a similar problem.

    Acceleration in first feels more advanced/faster than the 91 tune.

    Here are some screen shots, 4 misfires, low rpm, uphill.

    It will probably level out - 4 misfires is nothing for these trucks based on my experience. If I use gas with the wrong additives (like my experiences w/ VPower, I get that many or more misfires stock or tuned) but it takes like 35 misfires in a single cylinder in a 100 rotation cycle to even trigger codes. that said it almost seems like you're still running the 91 tune - perhaps a reflash to make sure no issues with what was loaded?

    So would it be ok to run the 91 octane tune on 93 octane gas, we don’t have 91 here

    I know it’s probably been stated on one of these pages, but does the reflash void the warranty?

    The tune is not detectable, so don't tell them you have it. If anything ever comes up, you just say you unhooked your battery. Also, you can always flash back to stock.

    Only if they can prove the tune caused a warranty issue, and if they could detect it. Which they can't today based on the tools they have available, plus if you did have a warranty issue it is easy to flash back to the stock tune before taking it in. That said, its HIGHLY unlikely the tune would be the cause of any warranty issue on it's own...

    Thanks for the info. I’m very interested but didn’t pay for an extended warranty to have it voided.
