So, I was looking at the rocky road super sliders. I haven't seen anybody really write* up experience with them, in regard to atual use. In fact, Ive only seen a few pictures of them installed on newer tacomas.Does anybody here have any knowledge on these, besides them looking beefy?

Yeah, no more soda for me.

    Haven't had a soda since 2008.

Morning ladies and laddies... Seems that my sliders are ready, and I'll be going to Mobtown on Friday, if anyone needs a TW Express run...

I was on this kick for awhile, but I relapsed. haha

the kind of steel they are made of is apparently super tough.... maybe @PyritePirateBill can chime in here... he knows more about it than I do... but I've ran Rocky Road products (not sliders) and they have always been excellent quality

    wow.... that's awesome man....

I also gave up cold turkey in 08 after having kidney stones. I gave up caffeine all together. Talk about withdrawals. But after some time, i was good. Eventually i i started having a fountain beverage here and there, then just fell right off the wagon and was dragged under the wheels.

    Yeah, that'll happen.

I used to down that stuff when I worked on out on the road. After pancreatitis, I decided it just isn't worth it anymore. Huge benefit though, it was an almost instant 10 pound loss.

Only soda I will drink is diet or zero, and that's rare. I know, I know, aspartame causes cancer or Alzheimer's or something in lab rats if you give them 10 times what a human would drink in a week every day for a year.

lol it's not like sugary soda is any better.... bottom line: drink soda = die.

but it's sooooooooo good / convenient / etc...

we're getting a new refrigerator delivered today that actually has a working water filter / water dispenser on it, so I'm hoping to really cut back on my soda intake

All i usually had was diet. Grew up on that stuff. If it was gonna do something to me it probably happened long ago.

I drink a lot of water at home. Its at work where i need the caffeine. I figured tea was probably slightly less horrible for me.

I gave up soda years ago - that stuff is nasty once you break the habit of drinking it. Can't imagine going back. Also learned to like drinking coffee black, which took a while to adjust to but makes drinking coffee SO much better.
