Wife and I were talking.. *political rant omitted*... Yea but don't underestimate them because they're kids, their leader has a shaved head, and they have a catchy slogan..

Hahaha nice try. Long guns I have different approach. How would you like me to build you one?

Also palmetto state armory isn’t bad. Other good names are BCM, BPM, and Daniel Defense.

    Build one!

Then you can make it however badass you want it to be.

I had a ton of fun building mine and now if/when something breaks.. I know how to put it together.

Really there are tons of good ones but @Dangerdave has the right idea build it. They are super simple. I have built all of mine except one of my AR10s.
Some good cheaper ones are the S&W M&P15 sport, PSA, bushmaster, etc.

I have been debating the same thing. I've been looking at the M&P 15 Sport 2 if I buy one already built. Someone suggested to me the other day to build one too. I even looked at the M&P 15-22 for a .22 b/c there for a while I couldn't figure out if I wanted a .22 or the bigger caliber .223/5.56 b/c I didn't know how much shooting time I would actually get with a .223/5.56.

223 is much easier to get your hands on than 22 nowadays. Just food for thought
