Hmmmmmmmmm So again this am I am toodling down Hwy 61 as usual. And again the crazy ass dump truck drivers are out (there is a quarry or some shit they go to on this road). As usual, they drive like their pants are on fire and end up in my lane or the shoulder as they do this. So, I hit a curve that us long-timers have always noted is a "dead mans curve." And this SOB is barreling down so fast that he is LEANING over my lane! Now I think I want a damn dash cam so if I do ever get hit by one, there is video evidence of their driver being a DB (bc they will always DENY the driver should not be driving) and so I have evidence that IF I survive and just shoot his ass...it would be justified??

    Shit.......................

Any of you guys added power to a detached workshop/shed and been told you had to have a separate meter for it? That's what Duke power is telling me.

I do not have this, but I have heard it before. I am not sure why this is their policy. Used to not be, I am guessing they can make more money as there is a base rate charge per meter?

We're on the old Greenwood/Duke rate, so our power bill is supposed to be minuscule (supposedly, I haven't gotten one yet). I really don't want to add a new meter if I can help it. Thinking about going with a long drop cord, but that would kinda suck, too.

Just watch out that they don't try to send someone to "check it." Around my neighborhood (no HOA) the code guy is a DB. He is on video stating he will walk up to look in garages and shit. I tinted the garage windows within 48 hours of that being said! Oh, and he will also see if a neighbor is home so he can look in your back yard if your gate is locked. Asshole.....................

Around my area, he may end up shot. We think he is also a HOA person and lives in an area with one. So he is really an ass about stuff. I have had my fair share of rounds with Code ppl in the past. This guy would make me crazy if I started getting letters............ He would be the one to get on you for doing mods in your driveway or some shit.

You mean Arches NP? That looks similar to this:
    IMG_4234.jpg

This is the ledge I was describing- its a bit more gnarly; appx 3-4 truck lengths or so:

Going solo with family in tow- we elected to turn back. Storm was coming in and entire trail was closed due to previous storm.
