I was originally thinking a Dakar light pack to pair with these but was also considering the more expensive Icon RXT's for future adjustability (I guess same is true of the Dakars w/ d29).

Do you have any thoughts on compatibility with the Icons?

I do apologize in advance but will this add lift to a 09 prerunner dcsb? I'm not looking to lift my dd as id like for my 58 yr mom and 70 yr old uncle to get in without much trouble. I can accept 1/2 to maybe 1 in lift. More than that I wouldnt like. Thanks.

Just bought my kit from Toyota Parts and Accessories of Nashua... $585.20, no sales tax, picking up on Saturday!

In the meantime... Anybody need a set of 5100s for a second gen? I guess I won't be using mine lolol

Shit, that didn't take long... Message from the dealer:

"I'm writing to inform you that this package is on national backorder and I can't provide an ETA at this time. Please let me know if you'd like to cancel your order."

It would be really great to not get stiffed if they can't stock the package...

I ended up ordering general spring heavy duty leaf pack for the rear. My cousin had these leafs on his 2012 and it settled to 2” with a camper shell. The ride is very smooth on his truck so I figured I’d try my luck with them. Seem to be very comparable to the wheelers pack with 1.5” lift. I have the stock off road pack (2+1) and didn’t want to take a chance with an aal.

Apparently, Toyota is actually manufacturing kits to fill the backorder, which I find surprising. Got that info from the parts dept at the dealership from which I bought mine. There are 81 backorders nationally. Wonder if they're going to cap sales...

Hmm, I’m probably in the same boat then. Figure I’ll leave it on order for a bit. But I honestly doubt they will fire production back up for backorders, just from what little I know about automotive supply chains.

I have to agree, but I'll wait a week or two and see what the deal is. Truck payment and insurance already hit, and direct deposit hits on Friday, so I can afford to sit on it a little bit. Besides, if they actually do, we're getting a great deal lolol

Mine arrived yesterday but they sent the wrong aal. :annoyed: I called rogue off-road and they said they will make it right. I hate waiting.

I have put 150 miles on mine so far. Ride and feel is superior to my 5100s (1.75”) and my OME nitrochargers. If you are looking for a smallish lift (1.75”-2”) this kit can’t be beat for the price. IMO

Just placed an order with Olathe. I'm a little bit conflicted on this purchase. On one hand I want the added height and performance of the TRD suspension, but on the other hand most of my driving is on paved roads and I don't want to sacrifice the "relatively plush ride" that the OR suspension has on my 2014 DCSB. Many of you guys have probably made the conversion by now, can you tell if the ride is stiffer and less comfortable with the TRD suspension over stock in your daily travels? If so, how much? Or maybe it's improved and more comfortable? Thanks.

It is noticeably more firm than the stock OR suspension on my 2015 to me, but body roll is improved just as noticeably. I still haven't had a chance to get back to my driving routine since I have to keep an eye on the cat during his recovery, so my current opinion is based on the few trips I've made so far.

It's also worth noting that I'm also sitting on a 3 leaf AAL w/overload tart I also put in at the same time, so that may also cause variance in my experience vs. others'.

So, if you were going to use 1/2" spacers for an added 1" lift would you need to disassemble the shock and coil and put longer studs in the top hat?
