    Hey Guys,

Wanted to touch base. I have been a bit swamped with emails while traveling, but am getting pretty darn near caught up . I am going through and setting up the production queue the next few days, and will have it ready this weekend/early next week. Traveling in Big Sur with my wife at the moment and doing spreadsheets around a campfire. Nice to have a little 'vacation' before getting back to work!

If there is anything you need help with directly, send me an email at graeme@gfcengineering.com or give the number on our site a call and leave a voicemail if we don't pick up. I will get back to you as soon as I can. Happy to help with whatever you guys need, and thanks so much for all of your support.

We are so beyond stoked to have this level of demand for the camper, and it is going to be really fun to see these in the wild.

    All the best,

    -g

I was camping the end of last week and over the weekend. All that I could think about, pitching and stowing my tent in the rain, was how nice it would be to flip open / close a GFC and be much happier. Not even mentioning stowing gear and such.

Agreed! I already informed the wife I'm buying one whether she likes it or not.

    Awesome!

I actually have clearence, except that it needs to fit in a non-existent budget. Belly crawling under my tonneau and over the tube sand to get to the wet camp chairs strapped to the forward most D-rings, stowing my soaked rain fly in a garbage bag, stashing stuff in totes. . . The list of things it would solve goes on and on.

That said, it cured my cabin fever.

    Just the basics
The totes will still be there. I use three in my popup, one for firewood so it doesn't get all over the place, one for kitchen gear, and the last for misc camp gear and my stove.

I agree, but they will be much easier to deal with. I didn't even want bother with rolling up the tonneau in the rain. I got a cheap one as I knew that I was getting a canopy down the road, before the GFC was announced.

To answer some previous questions about XM reception: I have the AT Habitat which covers the antenna. XM works fine...if away from tall trees...and mountains...and canyons...and not facing north.

Nah, some of us are just good at telling our wives we’re going to get what we want when we want it.

If I spend $5000 my wife will simply go out and spend $20000.00. The math of marriage isn’t very complicated, just multiply by 4.
