Yeah, except that our previous cat was dark colored, and so are most of the clothes I own

I've spent the last 6 months realizing how much cats actually shed.

This one was originally a stray, so he prefers to do his business outside anyway. Even when it's snowing sideways; he'll ask to go out, do a mad dash under the shed, and be back at the door screaming to come in 5 minutes later. We don't even keep a litter box for him at this point.

Nope. Probably would depend on the dog, and on the cat. I know they don't do well with birds; my neighbor's dogs got loose while I was at work a couple of years ago and slaughtered my entire flock of chickens.

Yep. Best of both worlds; he comes when you call and doesn't crap in the house, but still controls the local rodent population with enthusiasm.

They say be wary around small animals, but if introduced as a puppy there should be no problems. They're not bred to hunt and kill but to point where the animal is and retrieve if instructed (well trained of course) Ive heard they like to bring you presents like snoopy neighborhood cats... lol

That's how they tag feral cats as having been neutered/spayed. Mine is missing the same tip.
