Why would you even ruin Bourbon by adding anything? The stuff is meant for drinking straight. We just did the the Bourbon trail in KY and someone asked about drinking it with water. He was quick to pick up the bottle and note the words on the bottle "Straight Bourbon Whiskey" He then said Bourbon has big bold mystic flavors why would you water down your steak....

 

I drink it too quick and get inappropriately intoxicated for the social setting, so I have to cut it with something!

I could actually build you a portable one pretty easily and hit wouldn't have to be built in and you could actually have it on the WRX

Once everything is out of the way. I've read some people end up needing to shim the guessets which could make it more difficult

 

So you are just referring to the bucket gusset part. I would say that is a case by case thing. Could be easy and everything line up and only take a couple hours start to finish. Or it could all be fubar, nothing lines up and you fight every step of the way. Then who knows how long.
