I know, right? When I first got mine, it kept amazing me. I thought that since it was mine, and I was smitten with it, I was over analyzing it. But when coworkers, who wouldn’t normally say anything about someone else’s paint job kept saying “every time I look at your truck, it’s a different blue”...

Can you show how you attached the Grand general amber lights on the grill? Also, what did you connect them to and how? Maybe post a build thread somewhere? ;)

I’m too lazy to make and keep updating a build thread, i’ll be honest. :anonymous:
But I attached the lights using black zipties, there are two small holes on either side of each light, threaded the ziptie thru and fastened to grill at equal intervals apart from each other. For wiring, there’s a lot of space behind the grill so i didn’t remove it. Combined the negative wire from each light into 1, and same for the positives. I then anchored the negative to the bolt next to the battery and ran the positive into the truck. There’s a grommet easily accessible on driver side, slipped my positive thru with the rest of the wires going thru that grommet, and you end up right next to the fusebox underneath driver’s side foot well. I used an add a fuse to connect.
An oversight of mine on installation, if i wanted to remove the grill i now had 2 little wires preventing me from easily doing so. So i cut the wires and reattached with a quick disconnector.

Rubbed on the front mudflaps, removed them. It then rubbed a bit on the inner fender/wheel well (front only) when the suspension was compressed more than just going up my driveway, heat treated the two spots and no more rub.

I finally got a VIN number and estimated delivery for my MT trd pro. The only problem I have with it is that it comes with the roof rack which is $400. What are the pros and cons of having one? I don’t think I’m ever going to use it. I’ll see if I can negotiate them removing it since they told me it was going to come to my specifications.

But at the same time, assuming youre getting it at sticker, consider yourself lucky. Esp in socal.
I'd let that $400 slide. Try and resell it after you take delivery.
CB with MT is ultra rare on the west coast

Haha that’s the only bad thing I see and that’s okay with me IF it doesn’t have another con such as unwanted wind sounds.

Seems easy to remove. I just don’t want leak problems in the future. Thanks for the advice.

Oregon. It’s been 3 months of wait so far but totally worth it. I refuse to pay over msrp. I rather spend the extra 5-10k on a surf trip lol. They’re even offering me options to deliver the car here in SoCal. I’m waiting for a quote on the transportation but I do not mind flying over and driving back 800 miles to break it in.

Looks pretty badass but I’m a simple guy. I will be doing some off road but nothing gnarly. I’m not worthy of that rack.

As I wrote up I purchased my Pro last month and then called a bunch of dealers the next day to check where the market was on Pro pricing. Without be placed on a list to pay MSRP ( a dealer told me many of the list in so cal were more of a ruse that would never happen ) what was your experience with dealers offering for Pros on their lots ready to sell. Were you able to find any at or slightly above MSRP?
