    Since i never had a thread for my old truck, i figured i make one for my new one. I had a 2009 double cab SR5 with a manual transmission that i flooded and totaled. Since i love Tacomas I got another 2010 double cab SR5 with manual transmission with a shinny new frame.

    Final form before it was totaled. Finally had just the way i wanted.


    Crazy night. I made this crossing a few times before but i must have gotten logged on something and i couldn't move. @Chux tried to winch me forward but to no avail. Eventually after 30mins of sitting in the water the truck stalled out. Ant (BPFtaco85) was able to drive on the other side and winch me out. Shout out to @Chux, The Hunter, and Ant for getting me out and keeping me warm. Once we towed it back to Ant's garage the truck did start but was in limp mode. Took it to the dealer and called my insurance. They replaced the ECM and SRS module hoping that would fix it. The truck started and i drove it home, the next day i got more warning lights and took it back. The electrical harness needed to be replaced and the insurance company didnt want to deal with that and considered a total loss. Sad day.



    Thanks to @HomerTaco, @V5ioV, @Wheelspinner, @TNT4X4, and Ant for helping me tear apart the truck and put as much stock parts back on.

    @planters15 my papers did bring the info we spoke about on phone last night... note in Step 1. they say it is ok to do in the car and/or a vice..
    Also, in Step 3 you can see the avarege "height : nut turns" BUT keep in mind this is for #650 springs not #700 so the info we seek is a bit different.
    I think we can probably do the math conversion with the info provided in Step 3. Let me know what Micah says about current set up...
