Are you currently stock in back? What AAL are you adding? Single? Or Progressive?

It will probably settle a little. Do you have the 2+1 leaves or 3+1?

the springs in the rear are stock and they are 3+1.

I ordered the wheelers 1.5 single spring. Mostly because I have a big road trip scheduled this summer where I will likely have a decent amount of weight in the bed for 14+ days. The guy at wheelers suggested the single add a leaf because it should handle the weight better.

I haven’t actually taken it for a drive yet. It’s about 30 degrees outside and snowing currently and I spent about 6 hours doing the install. It was my first time doing any type of suspension work and wanted to take my time and do it right. But the time I was done, I needed to run in and warm up. I’ll take her for a little spin tonight and report back with initial impressions.

I’ll be interested to see the results when you get the AAL installed. I’m still debating between the single and the progressive. I want some rake, but not more than factory.

I’m concerned the 3 leaf progressive would leave me too high in the rear. I thought I read the single ALL resulted in a rough ride. Not sure if that’s one persons experience or not though.

I read all the posts, and for those interested in buying, here is my story. Ordered online from the kind folks at McGeorge Toyota in VA on Saturday just before midnight. Order confirmed Monday morning as soon as they opened. Got a message from them this morning (Wednesday) saying Toyota canceled the order to them. They had 25 sets on order and received zero. McGeorge has since marked the item as discontinued because they do not believe Toyota will be making more. They kindly cancelled my order and issued a refund.

I called 2 local dealer, and neither had stock. They both got the same information from Toyota. There are 81 on backorder, but they were still taking orders. Neither dealer believed the orders would be fulfilled, and I asked one to give it a try. He has not received a confirmation yet, but it was not rejected. Dealers still can't believe the price drop.

So I went back to searching, and shipping from the west coast gets pretty pricey on this kit. Rogue and OEM still show them available, but I wanted somebody to quote me one in stock closer. TRDshop.com said they had them in stock in MS and quoted me $629 + $48 shipping for $677. I placed the order, and they fulfilled it 2 hours. I got the FedEx number by 5PM, and it is already in transit with delivery by Saturday. I paid a few dollars more than the cheapest prices, but these guys were stellar!

Just glad I was able to grab one, because this really is a bargain. Now to order that AAL, and figure out when I can get this put together. Good luck everyone.

How much am I going to kick myself if I get my suspension on only to get needle bearing vibes in like a month? Is the consensus to just get it done at the same time? What risk(s) do I run rolling around with vibes after they start?

Doesn't even have a license plate yet!
If I could tie up the rest of the balance in my checking account (after having completed a transaction with another dealership today), I'd buy it from them right now. Hope they have them available in the morning...

Sorry if I missed it. Is yours the 2+1 or the 3+1 leaf pack? Looking for more folks that have done the 2+1, which is what seems to be more common where I live.

You swapping out the seal at the same time? I also think the price for the tool is ridonk. Might wait until I find a used one.

We have a similar industrial style puller for that type of application but once it's apart, I don't wanna go back there again soon so yes & maybe a little more.
