Of all the food my wife and I had between us from Goody's when I installed my spacers the other day the only thing worth a damn was my sandwich, The Hog (I think?). Everything else was pretty bland and unremarkable.

I like City BBQ from the one time I've ate there.

Probably the best BBQ place I've ever eaten at is between my house and the facility, but they recently just stopped doing dine in/carry out and only do food trucks and catering now. Super disappointing.

As far as chains go City BBQ is good, I also like Smoky Bones.

We also tried Mark's Feed Store on the way back from mammoth cave Saturday, and it was pretty good. I wish they had more sauces.

At least for me, BBQ is about the smoke and not the rubs or sauces. If done right, it'll taste great without all the fancying up with ketchup based sauces or brown sugar filled rubs.

I'll see about bringing some pulled pork or brisket to LBL.

I make these things called armadillo balls. Basically a mixture of cream cheese, cheddar cheese, onion powder, roasted garlic powder, cilantro and minced jalapenos, into a quarter sized sphere. Wrap those in a mixture of ground beef, sausage, and bbq rub. Wrap that egg sized morsel in 1/2 strip of bacon secured with a toothpick, freeze, then smoke on low heat and glaze with bbq sauce. Damn good. (Take way too much time and 12 lbs will get annihilated by people in no time flat.

Truck mod money just went poof for a while. :(

Just dropped $4600 on a new Cub Cadet mower. Launched a rod through the side of the engine block on the old one literally as I was backing it in the garage on last cut of the season. Got $450 trade out of it. Now I can cut grass when the time comes for that shit.

    27hp hydrostat. 60" cut.

    Almost 7 acres

Big wide paved driveway and house, garden, reduce grass portion to roughly 6 acres. 2 hours with weedeater and 3 hours on mower....every 5 or 6 days. I want a patio home. I hauled home leftover fertilizer from work for years. Now you can see the grass move it grows so fast.

$450 is pretty good for a mower with a hole in the engine block

More or less just discounted new mower $450 and hauled off the old one for free...

The logging company really dug out some trails when I was there in December. If the ground wouldn't have been mostly frozen I would have been screwed since they also took out the big winching trees!
