I will have to get out my small collection and take some pics soon. I don’t know a lot about collecting, mostly just buy what I like. I have some Car Culture sets and some sets of cars from movies. I never walk into a Walmart or Target without looking through the Hot Wheels.

I started collecting years ago but only the vw bugs. then a few now and then that caught my eye and now I love them all! my wife laughs at me when we go to Walmart and I always say lets go look at the hot wheels.

I love that book because it would list all the colors, tampos, and wheels of each casting.

I need to find the most recent edition of that. It was an awesome guide and helped me find cars I never knew existed.

Collect however and whatever you want. If you only focus on resale value then you won’t have any fun as a car could be the hottest thing going one day and then only worth a buck the next.
