Archive is expensive AF but 14s would be cool though. I'm getting their new spring hangers too. After wheeling the Rubicon now I know why BAMF and Archive make them. I landed on them a few times and they are slightly bent.

Expensive, but you have way more options. You can run a bypass in the archive and possible a 2.5 if im remembering correctly. You are very limited to just the 2.0 smoothie with the bamf. You can also set up the archive to run a 12 but have the lower mounts above the axle so they wont drag on anything. I will also be getting the shackle hangers because i can totally see that happening.

If I ever consider bypasses I'll go full LT with a DMZ kit. Bypasses not needed for the wheeling I do. Also with shocks that big you are limiting yourself with the springs you are running. Also have to run wheel spacers with the archive kit. That's a HUGE reason why I'm not going with that kit. I don't want to run wheel spacers again. I was rubbing up front with them. I removed them and it took away most of my rubbing issues. Not going back to that.

I dont need bypasses right now either, but maybe in the future? haha. I was under the impress that the BAMF kit needed spacers as well, or is that just dependent on wheel offset? I would rather not run spacers if I don't have too. Not hating on the BAMF kit at all, probably the route I will go. Just nice to look at all the options.

I looked at Archive but then you'll have to cut off your lower shock tabs and reweld new ones when you go with bigger shocks. 12s to 14s. No just need the correct offset. They were on sale this past weekend.

You don't need spacers with every set up it all depends on the wheel and tire combo. Even with the wheels tucked in tight you will only rub fully flexed so it's not a real issue as the running wpuld be minimal and at very low speeds.

You are not limited to the 2.0 smooth body there are plenty of guys running 2.5's with our shock mounts. Also if you want to run 14's you can I don't see the point as you can't cycle 14" shocks with most lift leaf packs anyway.

Thats what @90yota was saying, most leaf packs wont cycle 14 inches anyways. I guess I haven't read up enough, I didnt know people were running 2.5s. Thats awesome.

If it were me, I wouldn’t throw on bypasses for an soa application with relocated 14s. IMO you are setting up your rig for crawling stuff which doesn’t really need that level of adjustment. I would just get clickers again and go that route. Jlee is right about the leaf pack travel in that without relocating the front and rear hangers to be wider to house a bigger leaf pack all you can cycle is 12. Doesn’t mean you can’t have more flex, but to me I don’t see much advantage at that point.
