so with mod day coming up I'm hoping somebody can help me. i started installing my long travel kit this past weekend in hopes that when mod day roles around i could have done my snorkel or air compressor....well i have everything except the extended axels put on..i have the assemblies off the truck but i cannot get the half shafts out to put the new ones in. i took them to toyota yesterday. they just called me and said they can't get them. Has anybody had any luck with what I'm trying to do? I've looked up ways to get them out and nothing i have tried works.

All finished with my 2nd revision of the relay box. Just some finishing touches. Labelling and such. I can make a custom diagram. UP FOR SALE. $75 for locals. $100 if I have to ship. I learned from my mistakes on the first box and made this one better. I'll be bringing it to mod day for anyone who wants it.

If you bring them to mod day I can help you with them. No promises but I've taken a few apart in my day.

Make sure you hit it flat against that gear looking thing attached to the shaft. Can't think of the name. Definitely get a BFH and nothing smaller. If you have a vice, place it in there and angle it where you can get a good angle to hit. After 10 hits rotate the shaft in the vice.

Also for anyone interested. I'm making these little kits for the ABS OFF mod. I have total up all my expenses but right now but initially im thinking $40. That would include

    -pre-wired relay
-ch4x4 custom switch (size of your choice)
    -2x piggyback fuse taps
    -wiring diagram

What are the advantages to turn off abs?
I'd be worried about somehow triggering it highway driving and not know needing to slam on the brakes.

From what I've read. When your wheeling you can stop faster by locking up your tires and having them dig in rather than ABS taking over.

I still need to make sure it works on 3rd gen. The write up for 2nd gen is pretty self explanatory. Need to see if it's the same for 3rd gen

Exactly, or if your springs are really soft like mine abs will kick in during normal hard braking because the ass end is lifting up losing traction

Did some work today on the other truck, removing exhaust hangers in the cold on wet ground is no fun. But I got it done

Haha thanks I was trying to beat the rain, but I flashed the truck deleting the emissions stuff prior to rain so I had to finish removing the exhaust before I could actually drive it. I still need to finish removing the egr stuff but that can wait since it’s fine just unplugged, I need to buy a muffler for the exhaust as straight pipe is a little silly lol

@G.T. mentioned a 1” body lift by 4crawler, to help with clearance for 35’s. Been thing about it, wanted to see if anyone else knew if that site is down or something wrong with it. Also is there any difference with doing the body lift on a manual trans vs the automatic trans, and would that affect Plate bumpers alignment down the road? Thanks
