There's a big issue with the beds wearing out. There should be a thread on it.

LOL. Should have. And not yet on the AAL. Was hoping someone had one for sale, since I like to "help" TW members first, and posted something in the NE buy and sale thread, but no bites yet... so probably going to order the AAL by the end of this week.

Nope. At that point I was so pissed I didn't even want to.

It's almost Friday, and you will have a fun time Saturday getting your truck together. Just a few more days! And maybe grab some diapers on your way home from work

 

LOL! Won't be putting the suspension on that quick. Once I get the AAL I'll get with Drew about going up to him so he can do it.

 

Which by the way, got the email notification that it's on the truck for delivery today!

Hey guys, I know there are a lot of f-150 owners on here for some reason. So I wanted to give a heads up/ask. Anyone need front/rear bumpers or a grille to a 2015+ f-150? I also have UCAs and Icon UCA's for them. Need to get rid of it all and gonna post it on CL today or tomorrow. All in perfect great shape, the icon UCA's might could use a new bushing or two tho.

Came in early so I can try and get home before most of snow hits the ground; stuck driving a RWD Stang with summer performance tires today.... Thanks Toyota...On a funny side my truck is still in getting the TSB work done for the rear end howl/whine. They called me yesterday saying they wanted to keep the truck for another day because another Taco came in with the same issue, they replaced the whole diff on that one, the kicker is this one is a A/T vs my M/T. The second time I was in the tech told me it was a normal characteristic of a M/T while I had been saying the contrary all the while; well I got proven right on that one. It'll be interesting to see what they have to say today.

Which grille is it?

 

The chrome XLT grille. The bumpers are chrome too, the rear has the backup sensor holes.

 

Retracting glass is just a good way to suck all of the junk in the bed into the cab, though. The '84 has a rear slider that I almost never use because it just pulls all of the sawdust, wood chips, etc. in the bed through it and spits it onto the occupants of the cab

Problem is that I think I am getting too old for it... I basically play agaisnt a bunch of "kids", and I'm 36 going on 37. The day after a game I can barely move... today is probably going to be worse since I played for 3 hours straight yesterday, versus the usual one hour.

I use my slider in my truck all the time when the weather permits, but even if there are a couple of leaves in the bed, they will find there way in the cab!

 

When you're a Teenager or in your early 20's, maybe. Once you get North of 30 that mantra is how you get injuries. There's discomfort/fatigue, and then there's pain. Pain is something you should pay attention to, really.

Yeah, my '10 had a slider and if the bed was empty it was great. If I'd used it for anything lately, though...not so much. And since the '84 is a work truck, it's always got loose crap in the bed. Sometimes it's literally crap, haha!
