I may have tweaked a few things...
I’m really happy with it right now. Made a few changes since we met up for the bumper. I was a bit overwhelmed with the bumper and decided it wasn’t right for this truck so I passed it on to @DylansBase (gave him the same deal so no profit). I’m still 50/50 on that decision cause it would have looked badass but I’m happy knowing it will do more than just look good on his truck.

I did get hooked up with Avid side steps from @little squirt that are a huge improvement over my original running boards. And last weekend I replaced my old tires with Falken Wildpeaks in 265/75/16, a size up from the old BFG rugged terrains. My ride on pavement is still soft but no longer bouncy and uncomfortable like it has been since I bought the truck.

I also did the zip tie mod to get rid of the damn steering wobble so I think i’m finally ready to taste some dirt and see how it handles off pavement. I might even get out and do some exploring this weekend.

How are you liking the ARB bumper?

I haven’t really driven the truck much in the last 2 months I’ve been driving my 1st gen, I ordered some parts for it to get it back to being drivable

Thanks Ted for taking some of that mulch off my hands! I didn’t even show you the huge pile i’ve already moved to the side yard. It will be a while before the yard looks normal again but at least i’ve been able to get the mulch off what grass I still have.

I’ll probably be stuffing mulch in the green waste for a few months to get rid of it so if anyone has need of some send me a PM!

At least you have a reliable backup. If I have trouble i’ll be commuting to work by bicycle again. Part of me feels like I should anyway, but given the choice it’s hard not want to drive the truck.

I saw you were asking about *rear diffs with the autoLSD. Did you blow something up or are you just making changes?

I got 5.29s for the little truck and want to do a limited slip for now
It currently has 4.56s, but those are going to my brothers truck once I get them ready

Not enough to have a build thread.
    Congrats/ condolences.

Now to be a vulture: What kind of suspension setup do you have on the front of the 1st gen? Trade/ sell to me before you sell it?

It's a 2.5 toytec boss w/ resi coilovers front and AAL rear. Like to leave it on the truck. I'm looking for a good setup for the second gen though.

Also have to get a front bumper on the second gen. Think I'm going TC uppers and King's with Dakar with King's in rear.

Underwater they’re much better looking. But yeah there are others that are better.

I took this video in Carmel a few years ago. There’s a ling cod at about 15 seconds after the vermillion rock fish. There a leopard shark at the end.
