    I have an 07 TRD w/4.0L V6. I do 90% in town driving and I'm shopping for spark plugs. Given the kind of driving I do,what kind would you suggest? Thanks in advance

    i recently ordered some new plugs myself, and i did minimal research on TW, but found the "go to" was Denso U groove plugs, specifically the K20HR-U11's. i got them for $25 shipped on ebay. ill install them myself.

    Bilstein 5100s front, Adjustable Ranchos rear.
    I've been running NGK Iridium IX spark plugs for the last 10k miles. They seem really nice and the engine seems to knock a little less. Great performance and I average about 21 mpg.

    I'm just curious, because I've been running NGK iridium plugs for the past 55,000 miles in mine. They've been great.

    Stick with oem I went to NGK an 12000mi later had a misfire code pulled a plug an found this had right gap. Swapped denso in an no issue since.

    Such mixed reviews on these. I just picked some up without doing much research (I know, dumb), just knew I wanted Iridium for the longer intervals. After reading about them on here I have been hesitant to install them. This is good to hear!

    Just changed mine at 65k. Previous owner hadn't changed yet and the original denso's look much better than the original NGK's. Installed denso's back in it. Runs a little smoother also.

    This is an area what it doesn't really do any good to try and reinvent the wheel. I'm all for upgrades and more improvement but I feel sparks plugs isn't the place to focus on. Go with the stock Denso's and forget about it. Toyota has some of the best engineers in the world and they chose them for quality, dependability and longevity. 30K miles is plenty out of a set of plugs. Just my $.02.
