Considering the fact that I'm the one doing all of the "building" :boink::p

I need to update this thread to include the 4R! I'll redo the first few posts to make them less about my truck and more about both vehicles. Before I take the time to do that, I need to do actual work on the rigs still :bananadead:

I don't really need an awning... but at 30 bucks it was a no-brainer

True... I would like to have an awning on the truck again, but low on the totem pole as far as purchases.

Went to pick up some soup earlier for @MellyMel because she's stuck at home with the flu...

Some dumb ass kid in a titan tried to fit his stupid giant truck into a tiny spot next to my truck after I hopped in it to head home. I stared through the mirror with the window down ready to yell at him to stop as he tapped my rear tire and the very edge of my fender with his plastic front bumper. Didn't really do anything and I've gotta trim my rear fender a bit anyway... I told the idiot he was lucky he didn't hit my slider kick out with his pretty truck. As I left I watched this fool continue trying to park... pretty sure he hit the car on the other side of him, too.

People in the city have no sense.

That sucks but at least no real damage to your ride. My buddy recently did this parking at lunch to a little kia soul. He probably did a couple thousand worth of damage. :facepalm:Hes usually on point and is 1 of a small list of people I trust driving.

Mhmmm at least I have my 10x10 canopy I can use until I someday get another awning on the truck.

Should have just kept the awnings I had instead of selling them lol.

No ragerts! The canopy works just fine and you dont have to take it down to hit the trail or run to the facilities

    Super true...

I am mainly wanting an awning for the trips I take where the truck stays parked for a while like state parks, national parks, and such.

Would have been nice to have had one at Big Bend when we went instead of the pretty amazing rigging job that @Zac of all trades and myself did with a tarp between our trucks.

Yep, I had a 6ft and a 4ft... and had the 4ft mounted off the back of the prinsu on the shell, never got around to mounting the 6ft onto the shell prinsu and then ended up selling both of them. Now I just want to get either a 6ft or an 8ft to mount on the drivers side since that side as the fridge on it and such.
