I've seen some trucks with duals. Not sure what brand. I like symmetry. LOL of course I am starting to get a little rep of being a little Martha Stewart like when it comes to some things wanting to be all matchy matchy sometimes. LOL

The main reason I got the TRD over the Magnaflow I was thinking about, is the fact that the TRD is a one piece assembly. Two bolts , put in the hangers, and that's about it.

 

Yea, I like the TRD system. It's tuned for our trucks. It shouldn't have any drone on the highway. There's a huge difference between loud and right. I don't mind loud at all, I just want right.

I tried but my phone seems to do a crappy job recording sound.
I can try again though, maybe borrow another phone or anything that records sound - decently.

 

Well then before I make a decision I will just have to scoot down to Paswadena and give it a hear in person. Have a couple beers and shoot the shit. I am no where ready. I am saving up for a suspension make over first. But there are some decent sound recorder apps you can put on your phone depending on the OS.

Thanks, definitely deeper than stock. Sounds good. Do you get any drone at the faster highway speeds? Above 60?

 

For the lifted folks in here, is there a carrier bearing that won't crap out after 2k miles? The carrier bearing I put in the last time i rebuilt my driveshaft is making a squeak/squeal noise, ujoints are properly greased and have been ruled out. I'm also open to ideas to fix it without pulling the whole driveshaft apart again. The DCLB shafts are a pain to deal with

 

Or....I can head up that way and maybe we could hit Box Hill Pizzeria???
I'm not exactly saving up for any mods at the moment. This years taxes hit me hard so I have to pay Uncle Sam and the Great State of Maryland some money or the world is going to end. I'm tossed up over my next major mod. It's either going to be a Sport hood or a lower-grade 3ish" lift or TRD Pro wheels and treads.
I do have a mod to do but waiting on weather. I'm not telling what it is yet but I scored the parts for a SUPER low cost! Right place, right time kinda deal.

 

Yeah but I've gotten used to it. I've been told some sound insulation would help a lot with that.

 

There's an ECGS bushing that replaces the bearing and is said to be a "lifetime" part.
