What I learned from whiskey, was from whiskeys that weren’t nuanced. Glen Livet tastes like lightly charred white oak. Laphroaig tastes like peat smoke and sea salt. Macallan tastes like a sherry barrel with more delicate peat smoke. Once you hit yourself with the blunt force objects, you can pick up the more nuanced flavors in more balanced whiskeys.

Oh and Wyoming whiskey tastes like mineral spirits mixed with denatured alcohol

Yea the geese seemed to care less. I was going for the full loop but chickened out last second. That water looked cold and the ice thin... Glad I flew it back and didnt risk it that time.

Well, I was hoping for a good campfire story was all.

I woke up to 3" of snow on the ground and 20° temps this morning. Chose to not drive the tesla to work today.

Was still sketchy as hell.

 

Guys are freaking me out as everyone has snow this morning. We have so much on the ground still, its been so damn cold nothing has melted yet. But the 10 day forcast is clear...so

And im in columbus so pretty far from red lodge...well..not that far. But far enough. I was just getting texts about it.

 

No slush. Was way too cold and not enough snow really. It was very icy in places. No tire has good traction in those conditions.

We've had a lot of arctic air coming down the frasier valley out of BC for the past 7 days so it's been very cold and dry for us. Last night and again this morning, two week fronts moved thru bringing with them some moisture. Hence a little snow for us. But everything is frozen so it gets smashed down to ice but wont melt.

 

It's pretty though! Glad I got the work on the truck done yesterday ; I'd considered leaving it for today, since it was supposed to be (and is) sunny.

 

Yeah, that was a good call. Looks like there is more forecast for tomorrow and this weekend too.
