My kit should be here tomorrow. Now that flash manager is available, do we go through the same process as before with the kit? (email dongle registration, then email ecu/tcu information)?

What does this mean? Will S-mode be fundamentally changed?

 

@OVTune literally developed this tune with the help from the Tacoma World community. In a sense, you guys were all a part of it... so it d@mn sure should be the tune of choice for the Tacoma.

 

So you're saying modifications don't matter? Just use the same tune as everyone else? I thought things like an exhaust could potentially yield some gains if properly optimized. I know an intake might not do much, but is that the same for anything else?

There was some uphill before that

 

1.02C 0-60. 93 octane. Spec-U exhaust.

Foot was on brake when initial throttle was given to “launch”

Also, 58 is 60.

Really looking forward to being able to accelerate in 6th gear.

Drove 125 highway miles Tuesday morning with crap 15mpg. The shifting dance got really annoying especially with aftermarket exhaust.

Drove 125 highway miles Wednesday afternoon and got same crappy 15mpg with annoying shift dance.

Driving 70mph in 6th gear and a small feather of the pedal to bring you up a few mphs shouldnt require the trans shifting down to 4th like if you are standing on the gas pedal going WOT!

If he saw what I saw , your dash light for low fuel was on lol.

 

I would also like it if someone can tell what it all means. I'm sure it's good but a simpler explanation would be helpful to a lot of us.
