    What I failed to add, due to the loss of internet was the advantage of the Roth. My neighbor says if you only choose one, choose the Roth, unless you have employee matching. However you should always max out the Roth.

    Many of his clients are very thankful that they have a tax exempt retirement plan that they are drawing from.

    I cut my Roth off a few years ago, because I was concerned I made too much money at the time to qualify. Sadly, that was not the case :anonymous:

    With this new tax rate reduction, I’ll re-engage soon.

    My employer doesn’t match, but puts 14% base salary spreadout over each pay period. :amen:
