This is truly a no-brainer. Off road. You get rear locker, crawl control, better tires, bilstein shocks, extra hook in the front for pulling shit, a tilt and pitch reading for when you take it off road. All for about the same price of something inferior. Yeah..off road

And it doesn't have a non functioning hood scoop. That's the best part

I noticed the OR people don’t discuss the sport riding better on the road. Isn’t that a plus? Isn’t that a brainer?

Depends on your definition of "better on the road".

You need to drive both and see which you prefer.

I've been in both plenty of times and I can say it's a matter of one's opinion. I just said the off road rides amazing.

I like a woman who is a sexy head turner, plays softball, AND (mostly!) enjoys a good romp! Hence, I went with the PRO! :D:D:D
Seriously guys, Sport or OR or SR/5 or Limited or PRO - these trucks are great and we feel passionately about our choice. They're all good!
OP, drive 'em both and go with your gut feeling. You will be happy either way so don't overthink it or listen to anyone's overstated over-enthusiastic opinion. Trust the force!

I test rode the OR and in corners it seemed to lack. But I haven’t tried to sport yet. I’m also coming from a GTI lol.

I traded in a '12 GTI and when I test drove the Sport it made me feel like it was just too hard. Of course the OR can't corner like a GTI, but neither does the Sport. Test drive them both, then pick the one you like best, it's completely subjective. Whatever you choose, is the right choice.

    I've
I've said it a couple of times already, you don't see OR people buying Sport take off shocks so it rides better on the road but TW has plenty of threads of Sport and SR5 owners looking to buy OR take off suspension components.

Thanks guys. It’s down to whatever the dealer can locate at this point. I’m leaning towards OR but won’t be disappointed if he finds a sport. At the end of the day I could always mod what I wanted if I really wanted it.

:annoyed:Can't we all just get along? :argue: Clearly the Off Road is superior to the Sport in every aspect!:anonymous: Just look at the results on the voting on this very site!!! Off Road 206 votes or 53%, Sport 81 votes or 21%. The stats don't lie!:amen:

I don't see how that looks bad. Yes it is a little bit higher than the regular hood but definitely not an issue. It is practically the same view from both.

in my newer knowledge of it all, I’d say the OR is the best value, but it’s not superior in looks at all. All subjective other than the pure cash value of the OR.

    Like, so many.
I prefer the OR on the road. It’s not as stiff.

Better is subjective. I prefer stiffer suspension, but many don't.

The sport also comes with tires that might fit a Prius. A fake hood scoop that obstructs your view when going off road and a front air dam that you will eventually remove because it all looks like shit. Off road brothers!!
