Has anyone combined this kit with a spacer of any kind. Have the kit on order and thinking about throwing in a 1/4” spacer from headstrong to get roughly 2.5” upfront.

There hasn't been any pics of this yet. I'm looking at the same, I don't think it would be quite 2.5" up front. More like 2.25" as settling is taking most guys to 1.75" (TPC, Rob Daman). The 1/4" spacer should give roughly 3/8" to 1/2" of lift.

Yes some are doing it. I think toytec makes a spacer specific to this coilover set.

Those coil spacers at toytec and rogue offroad are almost $200. I know the top hats are cheaper but would be nice to find the coil spacers cheaper.

I was wondering the same thing. I ordered mine yesterday, and was about to order the new Dakar leaf pack to go with it.

Did you go with the headstrong 1/4”? I’d like to keep a slight rake but worried this will make it leveled. I’m also going with the 3 leaf aal.

That looks great! Looks like more than 3” though. Worried I might run into other issues.

Yea, I went and picked up a couple of their 1/4" aluminum ones the Friday before my Saturday install. I posted a link to pictures of how it turned out a few pages back.

Plus your pre-loading the spring with the 1" perch spacer, which would end up with a firmer ride right(?)

Is 1/4" top plate will give same lift right 1/4"?
And If you are preloading the spring with 1/4" will give you 1/2" or 3/8" lift???

    I thought 1/4" top plate ='s 1/2" lift(?)

    From Headstrong's web site:

Our 1/4" strut spacer can be used to correct the driver side lean and/or to gain additional lift. These spacers are anodized black and are made of T6 6061 aluminum. These spacers were designed to be used with the existing factory mounts. Lift gained by these spacers is approximately 1/2".

These spacers go on top of the strut mount and do NOT change the quality of ride. The lift is achieved simply by positioning the strut assembly down 1/4", which translates to approximately 1/2" of lift (1/4" spacing is accentuated down to the LCAs and out to the wheels thus resulting in approximately 1/2" lift). These spacers will not over extend the suspension and do not require bump stop modification.

Yes, that is correct. It may not be exact that a 1/4" plate = 1/2" lift, but close to that.

If you use the 1” spring perch spacers is taco lean still corrected given the struts are driver and passenger side specific?

    Cool...
Even better if that's the case top 1/4" plate spacer will give you 1/2" lift....

I ordered mine from Ebay for $25 each....
I should be at least 2.25" lift after installing it

Was planning on doing my instal this weekend but it may have to wait. I am scheduled for some service next week and want to keep my truck stock as possible. I have enough issues with my dealer as is.

I saw this lift on a 2018 4Runner Off Road at my dealer yesterday. Dealer installed. It was sitting really high. Can someone tell me what kind of lift it is?
