2018 Tacoma OEM Remote start(Push Button)

well, whats the point of having the remote start if you have to get closer to your truck so you can start it from the outside, might as well walk few more steps and open the door and start it with the push start. my truck is parked far from my room so its nice to start it with my phone. i guess it all depends on individual's needs.

 

My truck is parked about 100ft. away from my house and the factory remote works fine,also I would never pay to have to start my truck,thats just plain stupid and a waste of money in my opinion,lol I mean hell if people are that gullible I'll sell them a few bridges if they want,lol

 

let me ask you, how much did you pay for your truck?

 

28k Total,tax's,title everything,MSRP was 38k.

 

Most of the 3x remote starters will do external remotes as welll. Just depends on what you want to pay and how much work you want to do for the install. Plug and play or hardwire.

 

Wow that sounds like a damn good deal

 

Dealership here won't get any Toyota's with OEM remote start. Everything goes to a reputable shop & gets Viper setup.

 

Toyota could make a killing installing these plug and play remote starters.

 

I was looking at the warranty and anything that is not a genuine Toyota part will void the warranty. I guess if the dealer installs something else that may be covered.
