No but I wish I saw that before I bought mine. Also looks easier to install the light bar itself because you can pre thread the allen bolt and then drop it into that slot rather than trying to find the damn hole while having your fore arm jammed up in the grill area.

That's kinda what I was thinking. For half the price of the rest, I think I might have to give it a shot.

I installed the caliraised brackets, and for the slot alone, I would have bought these, I dropped the damn Allen bolt like 5 times trying to get mine installed, had to dig my magnet out and fish it out every time, very annoying. But caliraised was only ones I found when I ordered, still like them, but that slot would have been nice.

It's easy, the light relay kit will only need two connections and if I want to use factory look mictuning or ch4x4 switch there are plenty of us who have done it(myself wired switch incorrectly, so I know what not to do) that can help u through it. It took me a little over an hour to install and wire my light bar it's not bad at all.

I get lost around step 7 or 8. Why can't I just tap into a fuse or something?

That picture is just showing where he ran the wires through the firewall. You can i wired mine wrong and put the illumination wire on the fuse tap for the tail lights, and it illuminates only when my lights are on. I pulled power from the relay harness switch I intended on pulling power from tail fuse so it would only work when lights are on. If this isn't clear enough i can find the wire colors and tell you what goes where, can't remember off the top of my head.

No rush, man, but if you could provide something like that I'm sure it'd be much appreciated by more than just myself.

I cut the little push button switch off relay harness and wired the mictuning switch to the three wires from switch and a add a fuse. I connected red 2 to my add a fuse on the taillight fuse, makes it only light up when lights are on, I should have put the green there too (but didnt, I followed bad YouTube instructions) this way light bar only comes in with lights on. The switch had 3 wires after I cut it off, blue, white and black. I put black wire from mictuning switch to black from relay harness switch and red1 to blue wire from switch, I put green to the white from relay switch harness. This allows it to turn on even with key off because either the white or blue is 12 volt constant from battery through relay harness, I believe it is the white that is 12v and the blue is the relay trigger but I will have to check when I switch my green wire to the tail fuse. Maybe someone else Will know for sure before I get to it. Hope this helps but when I switch it I will take and post pictures.

Take a screwdriver and pop it apart, on the circuit board the two leds(mine were white) i took a black sharpie and colored the top down the sides about half way and it seems to be a pretty good match for the rest of the dash but it's not dark out(just swapped switches) i will try to get pics tonight or in morning to upload. Plus if it's too dark isopropyl alcohol will remove the sharpie.

Yea I think that slot is the way to go, lots of cussing and using my magnet when I kept dropping bolts mounting mine, not to mention the first bar i had had a m8 bolt and the holes in the caliraised are made for m6 bolts, worked out ok in the end.

I put one in my dad's tundra today and if you look at that diagram of the wires, I wired wire 1&3 together and put them to add a fuse on tail lights, wire 2 goes to relay(blue wire if you cut button off relay harness and have white black and blue wires) wire 4 to black from switch wires from relay harness. The white wire from relay switch wire is 12v constant, make sure you isolate so it can't short. Hope this helps a little more.
