You guys have the most of what I was trying to say. Why spend tons of money on a Yeti just because it says YETI on it? Why get a hardcore cooler capable of keeping your food cold on a week long camping trip if all you’re going to do is ice your beer for sportsball games? Answer: To look cool, man.

It’s like people who roll with their 4 inch lifts and 35 inch tires on extra shiny rims just to look cool in parking lots.

I need to wrap my brisket with this paper next time and see what the result is. While the last one was good it was a little dry,

I'm up to 4 now. Likely add a 5th this year. Want something for jerky and smoked fish so a tray type smoker would be better. First thought was electric MES but know some use the Bradley smokers for smoking salmon in Alaska. The Bradley's seem better insulated which is something I need. Still not sure which one yet.

Mine seems like it gets a little too dry for what it should be doing. I have all the coals in the main chamber though since I dont have a side chamber. Maybe thats whats going on.

Yup. I’ve got a separate wood/coal chamber and my meat is a good ways away from heat and fatty thickest part always towards fire

Ordered...side firebox. Now the part I bought is worth more than the smoker since I found it by the dumpster a few years ago ;) It was still in good condition so I cleaned it up and its been working great.

Yes that’s what I mean. Awesome for you! I love having a box big enough for multiple pieces of full size wood
