Do you still have your swaybar on? Cause thats the only other thing I changed and it was rubbing a nice line on the inside of my tires.

I did have the sway bar on until my lift got put in and then I took it out. Never noticed any running anywhere

Yeah no clue then. Chalk it up to differences in trucks I guess. I just noticed that I had a white ring all the way around the inside of my sidewall from my UCA right after I put those old OME shocks up front. Looked like every time the front end compressed they were rubbing, so I got the spacers ASAP because I'm not trying to ruin $800 worth of tires.

The good news was that the spacers didn't make me rub on my fender at all. All of this messing about has convinced me that putting 35s on here is actually not going to be super hard.

I ordered the BORA .75" spacers after reading your post. I have about a 2" lift on my truck and even though I haven't put the 255s on yet, I could see that it was going to be too close for my comfort. I went with the BORA because I didn't want to increase the sweep of the tire more than I had to and BORA was the only one to offer the .75". Can't wait to get them and get my tires on!!!

I am curious if the 17" TRD Pro wheels with the +4 offset or even the 16" TRD Pro wheels with +13 offset would rub with the 255's; vs the +25 offset of the stock OR wheels with a small lift like @Jibbs is running.

    I thought spacers weren’t required??

I can pictures, my tires come in today and

I’m curious as well. Yeah @Jibbs was rubbing the uca with a lift correct? Lifts would throw the caster angle off, must be what cause the rubbing

Has to be because I never had running on stock suspension or with lift and sway bar removed.

Whoa there, let's make sure we're on the same page. I had issues after adding a lift. Stock, you don't need spacers to clear the UCAs. Everything just fits and works.

That's what I thought I remember you saying.

Do you think that if you would have run a wheel with more of an offset like the TRD Pro (16" with +13 offset or 17" with +4 offset) that you would have needed the wheel spacers to eliminate the slight rub that you had post lift?

i was thinking about this, i think you would clear with 4R pro wheels at the +4 because that would be ~.75"+ difference from stock OR wheels and they are both a 7" wide rim

Yeah I'm sure you could achieve the same thing with different offset wheels. That's just alot more expensive than spacers lol

Yea, I know. Could barely tell he went through any mud on our last wheeling trip together. Now that he has spacers, those BFG MTs will eat and sling!
I'm on stock size tires, but 1.25" spacers and you can tell they're there.

Before I had the lift I had no spacers so I don't know about if they'd rub with spacers at stock height. The side doesn't look any different besides the front end being up a little from my picture on the first page of the thread
