I bought the truck as is years ago and just now getting around to doing the rear high clearance bumper. Guess me and the old welder will fix her up tom straighten it up before I put it on!!! Apparently the DA friend of mine tried to load way to much on it at one point!

I blame Old Brett for churning up the tree stump that rolled into the hill climb as I was following.

Oh and his decision to take that trail that ended up a dead end at private property.

So basically it's Old Brett's fault. Not the KO2s sidewall or driver error.

I think he was too. Which is why he drove me into town, waited and drove me back (for a total of 3 hours?) in order to get it replaced under warranty. Rather than drink beer at camp.

    The guilt overcame him.

The KO2s have been okay to me, but snow is the only terrain I find they grip well in. Dry road is to be expected, hell even a bald passenger tire can do that. But they balance worse than my washing machine and they don't do well on wet roads. Kinda a meh tire at a premium price, only upside is they're wearing fast so I can ditch em soon.

Also Icons are back on and WOW I'm impressed how they ride now. I need to go wheeling to see how great it is now but damn if it isn't a pillow in the front right now.

Lucky you with the intact ball joints, those UBJ's took me a good two days to get out and press new ones in.

What's your ratio of driving on a trail to repairs on a trail?

I'm sensing a pattern of stop buying bfg's ...... No I had ko2's and for the price they are really average you'd think spending $1k on tires theyd be amazing but there really not. But I'm a bfg fan and I'll just stay away from ko2

@175$ a piece for this size I think I gotta try em. All the reviews I’ve read have been more positive than negative too, so that’s a plus.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

Lmfao... the first thing I'm going to do is pop out those UBJs and put in the races for my SPC upper control arm ball joints.

Actually @BartMaster1234... popping out the UBJs is the first thing I'm doing, but I'm planning on stripping the steering knuckles down and refinishing them before the SPC races go in... I ment to ask you... what did you say you painted your knuckles with? I remember you posted what paint you used but don't remember what it was.

I've had a set of 2.5 SAWs for a little over a year now that I picked up for a couple hundred bucks, but they need an overhaul (looks like yours could use some love, too)...I took so long to get around to doing it that I just ended up buying a new set of Kings since I had the money. Still have the SwayaAways though and going to get them rebuilt soon so I have another set to swap in when the Kings need to be rebuilt.

I bought them off a TW member that had them on his 1st gen and said they rode like a dream, I've never heard anything bad about SAWs except that their customer service blows since they got sold to aFe (I think it was them).
