    Still just accumulating parts and info. And dust lol. Haven't started and won't get to until we get our house on the market, so sayeth the wifey.
    Either way on the transmission, mine is in good shape and fewer miles. I'll find out soon I guess.
    Bought Doug Thorley headers today, hope they fit without it too much trouble :fingerscrossed:

    If they fit the 4Runner they will clear the steering shaft on the Taco too.

    @hx989 are tou planning on replacing the conecting rods for 1uz rods? Read that it's the weak point when you don't get a Tundra donor. I am not planning onswapping the rods. I am replacing the timing belt, water pump, thermostat etc.

    Maybe if I ever want to supercharge the thing but probably not gonna happen. Same plan of action as you have here.

    Edit: without a supercharger I'm not worried about the connecting rods. They're also the same in the Tundra 2UZFE. It's a million mile engine
