That is correct. I was referring to rear bumper. So, you are saying there will be a 1'' gap in the front if I decide to go with Pelfreybilt metal bumper? Last time I spoke with Pelfreybilt guys they said there is way to adjust the front bumper up and down. Please let me know if that is not correct because I was thinking about getting Pelfreybilt front metal bumper as well. I was under the impression that since you have to chop the front off why not just cut it 1'' lower?

Ok, so this is the truck I saw. Not same, looks like he filled in the fender clip holes.

I see. I am going to put some Bushwackers on to cover those holes. But this truck looks awsome!

I saw a thread where a guy had a shop modify the aftermarket plate bumper to fit with the body lift.

There’s about maybe 1/2” of adjustability going up. Mainly side to side adjustments. You can probably make the hole bigger if need be. I wouldn’t cut the bumper 1” lower because the line you follow to cut is the top of the fog lights on the stock bumper. Here’s a pix of the holes and extra pix of the front of my truck lol!

There was a guy selling an aftermarket bumper that was set up for a 1" body lift (which was why he was having a little more difficulty selling it) so my assumption is that the bumper companies can make them to accommodate a body lift

This thread cracks me up. I just talking with a friend about the old days and the silly things we did like body lifts because we spent all our money on tires and had nothing left for a lift. I had no idea that anyone still ran body lifts. I thought the spacer lift stole the cheap lift market from body lifts.

Approximately 2.5 inches in the front and 3 in the back.

Thanks for the pictures! I spoke with Michael at Pelfreybilt again and said there will be a quarter inch or so gap... which I think can be covered by making those holes little higher as you mentioned. Which might be a good thing depending on how much body moves. How do you like that front bumper?
    Your truck looks awesome!

Definitely want some gap between bumper and body. It's surprising how much it all moves.

No problem man! Thx! I love it. It’s been good so far. Got a couple battles scars on it but it held up fine. Used the winch to pull people out and the bumper handled the stress.

Yeah Pelfreybilt builds it to where there’s a gap when you flex.

Wondering if the body lift would prevent the need to do cab mount chop to clear 35s with a 3inch lift?

I’ve done two others made with similar materials (Roger Brown) 0 issues. Look at the rear bumper, still have the gap & I don’t care, lol.

But it will give you fender clearance so that you wont have to trim the fenders
