No kidding. That's a pretty cool feature - if that is the case I'm wondering why who used this truck to tow didn't utilize it. Instead they used some weird piggyback connector under the steering wheel to control the brake signals.

Plan a trip, I don't know anything about Colorado besides it is beautiful. Anything to escape AZ for a bit, especially if you plan it in summer.

In the beginning stages of planning a trip to the alpine loop, black bear, yankee boy, Imogene somewhere mid/late july as ive never been but i know ben and monte have run the alpine loop and black bear before but thats what im gonna do which is pretty late in the summer. So another trip could be good somewhere farther north as ive never been up there much along with them either i believe!

Just seeing this, I’m about over the snow and we just got it again. After driving around in it last night and parking my truck for an hour my truck was froze solid. I had to put it in low to get it to break free and move...

I know what it is!! I know!! Haha Finally! Before anyone else!

It’s the plug for the Elocker, but your truck doesn’t have it, so it’s empty.

If your other truck has the Elocker then you could compare them!

You're kidding, this dinky little 5-lug had the harness provisions for an E-Locker? Wow.

I'm guessing none of those three pins are for the E-Locker, and Toyota simply didn't pin it for that. No way the E-Locker only uses three wires. Or does it?

    Wow. That really surprises me.

So... is this a sign I should put a rear locker on the 450k 5-lug? :D

I don't even think the rear differentials and leafsprings are the same versus the PreRunner and 4x4's.

    Hahaha they probably aren’t!

I would put the Elocker in your main rig first.

Plus, a whole elocker rear axle would cost more than that whole truck is worth!

Joking, no way in hell I'd drop that much money into a $600 truck. I say that but I've spent a fair amount in parts already... lol

If I could find a TRD rear axle I totally would put it in my main rig. Hard to find a locker w/ my gear ratio though since they were only found in PreRunners and Limited 4Runners.

Eh, if for some reason you find you need a locker for what you're doing an ARB locker for your current axle is stronger and a better value anyway.
