How good is that mirror at reducing blind spots - I'm going to get a soft topper for my first gen when it's back on the road and that means I'll be all mirrors on the passenger side. I've driven a delivery truck through LA traffic for work years ago so it's not a problem for me, but if you can see some out through the side glass with a mirror like that, it could be a helpful thing to have!

I like it a lot. Way better than stock. Headlight glare isn't bad either. I run a 14" in my truck.

    Just your alignment.

Can't get around that without solid mount the bottoms or having Heims in there like Camburgs kit.

I used to change my LCA bushing when they started to crack out. Turned out to be a waste of money and time. I just wait for them to wear internally now.

    Got a buddy who just got a 2005 F150
Who wants to make it into a prerunner like my truck
But doesn't want my advice (lol)

Anyone got any recommendations on good websites for him to educate himself and find plenty of f150 builds?

For Firds there isn’t much of an online forum community like Toyota’s or Jeeps. There are a couple forums but not with the big draw like this.

A good amount of nice F150's are on IG - he should find one he likes and follow and DM or call the builder / owner to get info. DR will be a similar process with key word and google searches, but most guys don't go on there much anymore. From what I've seen TW is the exception, not the rule when it comes to online forums.

Kevinwithdialed has an amazing F150 on his IG page. He's a pretty popular shock tuner I'd recommend following to anyone. He can also get you good deals on Kings.

DR will actually have builds and stuff, lots of good info on there still if you search

    It's a stock lariat
I told him he needed to get rid of the 18" wheels and street tires and get some 16" or 17" with a good AT (he drives Hwy a lot)

And he said no I don't wanna sacrifice my brakes
    I asked
Does your brake system require that 18" wheel? Inconvenient but not end of days and he replies with-
    I dunno I gotta research it >_>
    *facepalm*

Then he told me he is wanting to invest in a dual battery set up before he does shocks or arms
Which doesn't make sense to me either since he has no accessories that would tax the battery.

    So
I wanted to give him some forum crap to look at so he can start figuring out his own taste and style for his build

Cause lately he's been pretty sour of how quickly I built my truck and how good it looks ( I know, so much humility lol)

And I think I'm really gonna piss on his parade when I get the new Currie rear end and 4 link here in the next month or so.

We butt heads a lot but he's good people,
Just need to let him blaze his own path without letting him stumble onto the rough country of long travel kits and thinking its gold
