AKA: Dial a duck. Never thought of it like that before but explains why I don't mind them so much. 20 years as a Machinest Mate usually with the cap end of a mini mag stuck in my mouth so I could see what I was doing. Catch a lot of shit from the others at the clubs when I shoot it. But one of the few joys of getting older is I could care less what other people think (most of the time). Could see it being all of the time right around the corner.

Good morning y’all, starting to feel normal, whatever that means. This gak kick my butt, gotta get my strength back. Had a chest x-ray, came back normal, thank god. Being an ex-smoker for thirty years I feel very lucky. When you get to our age, all the stupid shit you did in the past can come back to haunt you. Well it is Friday :bananadance::bananadance:,have a better than average day.

    Morning all
Fell asleep on the recliner again, woke up at 0130 with the cat snoring on my lap, got up turned off the lights went to bed.

Took the day off to set up Moms new place, she won't move in until next week but I have so much to do I thought a day off would be nice.
No kidding I smoked from age 13 to 26, stopped 31 years ago and the doc says I am still at risk of heart disease. Need to get the cholesterol down to 100 or he puts me on meds. It's at 120 now. That's where he suggested tofu

    I had a hamburger yesterday

So I exercise my generators for my dorms once a week usually on Fridays, one half hour unloaded run time. If my calculations are correct, I only need to do this PM 306 more times until retirement.

We did that last year. It got hotter earlier then, come September, the heat turned down a few notches. We didn't get our December rains but January and February we got a few extra showers. Hopefully we don't warm up too much till the end of May so we can get some "post season" stuff done. I just ordered some steel light poles to replace the wooden ones that are rotting and getting ready to blow over.

My labs had my triglycerides at 300, doc said that was 50 too much but when we talked he just said don't do that so close to labs. As an additive to the cholesterol meds I take Mega Red. If you want to try it before he puts you on meds it should give you a read on their effectiveness. I like them because they don't upset my stomach like regular fish oil.

Having the "big 3" it's really hard to keep them all in check and have a decent quality of (food) life. And I asked him to pick which one he wants to kill me and he's good with cholesterol being a little higher but not in the "risk" zone. So as long as I don't eat a totally red meat diet I can keep it down...the triglyceride reading was from some brats a week before labs.

I was checking out the new HD Lowrider last night and I'm really disappointed with the color options and the seat options. I don't ride my bagger a whole lot anymore and probably don't have any more long trips left in me. Even though it's value is higher than a new Lowrider there's no way in hell the dealer is going to do a direct swap, but it's nice to look.

Good Morning everyone and Happy TGIF !! :hattip::yay:

Currently at 1027hrs it is 38° with feels like temp of 29° , clear skies , winds gusting to 35-40mph and high temp only to reach 45° today

Waiting on the car audio shop to call me saying my truck is done , still trying to figure out how to get there though as I'm not driving my Camaro their

Also trying to figure out what's going on with my Slacker radio subscription . Since getting new phone using same phone# and email I can only access basic subscription . If clicking on upgrade it mentions active upgrade subscription exists

Have contacted customer support and they say I'm screwed .... WTF !!!!

I still haven't pulled the trigger on XM/Sirius yet. I'd like to take advantage of the other options but just can't get the signal at work. So it's either traditional AM/FM or satellite.

Have you tried Slacker and or Pandora ??

Have both of these and I get uninterrupted streaming music heading East on Hwy 15 towards Vegas . Even heading thru Baker North on Hwy 127 Death Valley rd I've got a clear signal

Not where I work. Lot's of gulches and hills and not a lot of coverage. Lots of dead space. Having YPG in the middle of where I work doesn't help either. My son uses Pandora and another one in town.
