I did it today with hand tools it sucked. Drivers side sucked for both the front and the rear. Passenger side was smooth sailing.

Honestly I was hoping for a demo on the install. The video didn't necessarily help with the instal, but it did give me the confidence to just go for it which worked out in the end.

Yea I tried to narrate the fronts. I ran out of battery recording and had only 1 outlet on the extension cord. It was either have light or record in the dark. lol.

I posted this in the 2nd gen thread, but wanted to post here too...

I want to say thank you to all of you more experienced guys contributing to this TRD Pro suspension thread. Owing to the low pricing on the Pro suspension kit, I think there are a lot of guys (like me) that are venturing into the realm of "major mods" for the first time.

Were it not for the price, many of us would have simply stayed stock for the rest of our lives. We'd just continue to live vicariously through the rest of you and your really cool trucks.

This is kind of a big step for me, and others, I'm sure. This is no small investment I'm altering. And to be honest, it's pretty exciting. And I'm grateful to have this forum to be able to ask the "stupid questions".

So, thanks guys! "Community" is such an important thing these days. And it's cool to know there's a world of helpful people out there I don't even know.

Ordered from BAM, cancelled by them due to lack of availability (last Saturday). Ordered from Evans (on Monday and in stock), cancelled myself because Gunny was supposed to get them and I wanted to give him my money. Gunny’s order got cancelled! Literally just submitted another order from Bristol Toyota? Never heard of them and probably won’t go through.... low hopes at this point...

Try Olathe or coincelli. Both are good places. Also don't forget to try local Toyota dealers.

My locals were very confused and could not help me at all. They do massive volume here in Hampton Roads and could care less about us.

Anyone here going to be using Firestone ride-rite air bags with this?

    http://www.sdtrucksprings.com/firestone-2407-ride-rite-air-bag-kit-toyota-tacoma-4wd-2005-2017

My leafs are only a year old so they have quite a bit of life in them and the rake on mine is pretty pronounced. I don’t carry a lot of constant weight but I do toss on my bedrack, rooftop tent, bikes, and all my camping gear when I head out into the wilderness. I’m liking the idea of inflating them a little as needed for my trips and then of course dropping them down afterwards.

I have had them installed for over a year now. They work for leveling the truck off but you are then dependent on always having air for them. (You are always suppose to have a few pounds in them anyways.) I run them with daystar cradles which you might want to look into.

That wouldn’t be a big problem for me as I have onboard air. Do you use them with just the stock leaf pack? If so do the air bags themselves with, say 5psi in them, provide actual lift?

I have on board air also and an inline 2 gallon air tank. I have the stock leaf pack. The bags can add around 2 inches or more of lift when inflated fully. At 5psi you probably get 1/4 of lift.

Ordered a set from OEM part world too. So I now have two kits on order with my card charged from both places. There can be only one! Let’s see who wins. Been trying to order these since last saturday. This is getting annoying.
