It was a while ago but I believe it was 25m for 100 a month. Same service as my residential service at my rental home at double the cost. I got it because of the uptime SLAs associated with having a business grade service.

I got rid of it because after a year my average outage was less than 1%. I used it for work and since they weren’t paying for it, I cancelled it and if I lose my internet at home, I just use my cell hotspot or drive into the office.

Look for something else... again. :pout:

Also rest and drink lots of fluids and visit my doc to see how I can dig myself out of this. Ain't no cure for Lupus (yet?) only management.

I hate it so much, I don't want to sound like a whiny bitch or seem like I'm just fishing for sympathy but I go too far in the other direction and I ignore or try to play off when I'm having serious issues.

First off thanks man, I appreciate the thoughts. I've gotta resist partaking of "adult" beverages because that only makes me worse during a flare. We'll see how I'm doing after the weekend.

Regarding the employment stuff, that's a complex issue... the ADA comes into it too but at the same time you can't exactly wave the word "ADA" around without it being essentially viewed as going nuclear. If it would cause "undue burden" your employer can refuse to accommodate. Even if it's totally reasonable they can still shit-can you and your recourse is a lawsuit that you can get back-pay from but will probably end up offset by legal fees.

In this case I don't even think I was through the probationary period, and it was clear my Lupus wasn't gonna allow me to perform up to par, not exclusively because of a flare. I think more likely than not, it actually caused said flare.

But even mentioning Lupus during the interview process is a damned if you do, damned if you don't kinda situation too, because there's no way to prove any discrimination unless you get an explicit accidental reply-all email that says "Fuck this Kyle kid- he's a cripple, hire the guy we ranked 2nd instead."

Oh and SSDI... I don't get shit. I'd have to get an attorney to even make any attempt because my situation would be ridiculously complex. Problem would be establishing when I was actually diagnosed with Lupus, I had symptoms at age 23 but based on what they consider my age at diagnosis I might have enough work quarters to "just barely make it" or "nowhere near enough." This is because I got laid off during the financial crisis of '08.
If the insurance company that assfucked me to the tune of about $3,000 for massive blood tests because it was a "pre-existing condition" counts as a diagnosis date, I might be good. :jerkoff: That's a different can o' worms I won't open in front of everyone.

MT stuff, RTT stuff, the usual.
I’d imagine that diagnosis date wouldn’t matter, it’s all about when you could no longer work with SSDI

I think my real problem is with the credits, because I got laid off and then got sick, so it's a bit spotty on whether I was covered. I really should go see an advocate.

I think I've only ever been diagnosed with "generic ass lupus" :p which isn't on that list. You are right though, everyone's condition is different, and even the same "type" might affect two people totally differently. I don't get a skin rash which is one of the more recognized symptoms. I did get Hashimoto's disease as a side effect (where your Lupus attacks and kills your Thyroid gland) but mercifully your thyroid going and being offed by your body really just means a pill every morning and an occasional blood test.

One of the reasons I moved out here was Raynaud's Phenomenon, where cold or stress triggers a spasm in your hands and your fingers go technicolor:

Living in AZ I don't have episodes anywhere near as often... you may notice I will quickly put down anything you hand me that's cold, though.:D

Honestly though in day-to-day life without physical labor it's most often a random ache and a bit of fatigue. I'm incredibly lucky compared to some people who really have it awful, and I can only imagine given my current state.:(

Used it driving back to downtown SFO from Napa last December and it saved me at least an hour in rush hour traffic.

you dont need a jack that goes very high, pull the rear tires and get some stands under the frame just infront of the leaf spring perches... put your floor jack under your pumpkin and support the axle while you unbolt it all. you'll actually be happiest having it lower. than once everything is swapped, bolt the axle up since its still on the floor jack just chillin'. once that is done, jack the truck up high enough to get the tires back on it.... just leave enough room in the beginning because the new leafs will be closer to the ground than the ones you take off. can be done with a regular jack and semi tall stands.

also for the shocks, install the top first, than let the shock just extend on its own until the bottom is lined up.
